The problem
The first volume sold on its cover alone. The second had to earn its place without repeating it.
The solution
Letterforms first, then colour. Each poster pairs one drawn character with a limited palette so the set hangs together on a wall.
The outcome
The series hangs as a set or as singles, and the lettering now carries the studio’s own signage and shop.
